Toolkit for Quality Peer Education

Peer education encourages young people to find solutions for their own problems, to shape their own lives and the world around them, and to feel good about who they are with all their diversity.

Believing strongly in the power of this methodology, EPTO drafted a Toolkit for Quality Peer Education to help youth groups and youth-serving organisations to design and implement their own peer education projects.

In 8 chapters, the Toolkit talks the reader through all the steps and practical aspects of a peer education project and make it qualitative:

  • Understanding peer education
  • How to get started
  • How to plan and prepare
  • How to work with people
  • How to sustain learning
  • How to ensure participation
  • How to monitor and evaluate
  • How to follow up
